The mission of the Maine Rapids is to educate and prepare each field hockey players’ mindset and skill level for play at a high-level by providing elite training, regional and national club play, educational, and college recruitment opportunities to youth players in central Maine. We will educate, prepare, and instill the necessary mindset and skill set to take the players' game to new heights. Maine Rapids strives to develop an incredible passion for the game of field hockey at every age. The Club believes in growing its athletes into exceptional players and people on and off the field. Maine Rapids is committed to helping each player reach and achieve their goals.
Maine Rapids is a non-profit organization run by Executive Director Andrea Thebarge and board members who wish to provide opportunities for area players to improve their field hockey game.
