Skills and Drills Spring Training
U12 to U19 Program
The spring skills and drills session for U12-U19 players, coached by Andrea Thebarge, focuses on foundational stick skills, fun field hockey drills, and competitive team training. This comprehensive training session will enhance enjoyment and success on the field, building in body and ball control, coordination and reaction time as well as strategy and skill development.
This training session does not have a one-day tryout. Registration is open until March 8th.
RECRUITING OPPORTUNITIES
Players will be offered recruiting opportunities in the form of skills videos and recruiting assistance.
Session fee $400
Spring Competitive Team
Competitive Blue U19 Team
U19 age players practice approximately twice per week building and developing skills and strategy for elite play. Players will compete in tournaments in the greater New England area and beyond. Practices are at Thomas College and All-Pro, both in Waterville.
Session fee $995, which includes practices, uniform rental and tournament fees. Travel expenses are additional and the responsibility of the player. Session fees may be paid in full upon team acceptance, or in two installments.
U10 Skills Programs
Ages 7-11
Programs for ages 7-11 are often offered in the spring session. Click the link below to be added to the mailing list for notification when the program is available.
AGE GROUPS
USA FH determines U group by the age a player is as of 12/31 each year for the following year, i.e. if a player is 10 on 12/31, she is U12 for the following year. The majority of the winter season takes place after 12/31/2023 so all players are invited to join these age groups for the 2023-2024 season:
U10 is for players born in 2014, 2015 and 2016
U12 is for players born in 2012 and 2013
U14 is for players born in 2010 and 2011
U16 is for players born in 2008 and 2009
U19 is for players born in 2005, 2006, and 2007
